# COMPONENT_MAP_OUT_OF_DATE

`nextly generate:types --check` found the committed component map out of step with the configuration.

## Cause

`nextly generate:types --check` found the committed component map out of step with the configuration.

`nextly generate:types` writes the component map, a pair of files that tell the admin which components plugins and the site register. `--check` compares the committed pair with what the configuration declares, writes nothing, and exits 1 when they differ. The Why line lists each difference.

## Fix

Run `npx nextly generate:types` and commit both files it writes.
