# CONFIG_NOT_FOUND

The configuration file named with `-c` or `--config` does not exist.

## Cause

The configuration file named with `-c` or `--config` does not exist.

Without `-c`, a command looks for `nextly.config.ts` in the project folder. With `-c`, it reads the file you name, relative to the project folder (or to `--cwd`), and stops when nothing is there.

## Fix

* Check the path you passed to `-c`: it is read from the project folder, not from where the command was typed.
* Or leave `-c` out, and the command uses the `nextly.config.ts` in the project folder.

## Example

```text
✗ `-c config/nextly.config.ts` names a configuration file that does not exist.
  Why:  Nothing is at /home/you/app/config/nextly.config.ts.
  Next: Pass `-c` the path of your configuration file, relative to the project folder, or leave `-c` out to use the project's `nextly.config.ts`.
