# DATA_LOSS_CONSENT_MALFORMED

The data-loss consent names its targets in a form it cannot read, so the command changed nothing.

## Cause

The data-loss consent names its targets in a form it cannot read, so the command changed nothing.

`--accept-data-loss` and `NEXTLY_ACCEPT_DATA_LOSS` take either nothing, which consents to every deletion, or a list of what may be deleted: tables, and columns as `table.column`, separated by commas with no spaces. A list in any other form, or `--accept-data-loss=` with nothing after it, is refused before anything changes, rather than read loosely.

## Fix

Write the targets as a comma-separated list, or give the flag alone:

```bash
nextly migrate:down --accept-data-loss=dc_posts,dc_pages.summary
nextly migrate:down --accept-data-loss
```

## Example

```text
✗ --accept-data-loss=dc_posts summary is not a list of tables and table.column pairs: "dc_posts summary" is not one.
  Why:  Each target is a table or a `table.column` pair, separated by commas. Nothing was changed.
  Next: Name tables and columns separated by commas (--accept-data-loss=posts,pages.summary), or give --accept-data-loss alone to consent to every deletion.
