# DATA_LOSS_CONSENT_NOT_COVERED

The data-loss consent names what may be deleted, and leaves out something the command would delete.

## Cause

The data-loss consent names what may be deleted, and leaves out something the command would delete.

A consent that names targets (`--accept-data-loss=dc_posts.summary`) covers those targets only. The command found a deletion the list leaves out, so it changed nothing, even with a terminal attached: you said what may go, and this is not on it.

## Fix

Add the deletion the Why line lists to the consent, as the Next line shows, or change the migration so it no longer deletes it.

## Example

```text
✗ The consent given does not cover 1 deletion.
  Why:  - column dc_posts.summary (42 non-empty values)
        Nothing was changed.
  Next: To delete this too: --accept-data-loss=dc_authors,dc_posts.summary (or NEXTLY_ACCEPT_DATA_LOSS=dc_authors,dc_posts.summary).
