# MEDIA_STORAGE_UNLISTABLE

The media storage cannot list its files, so it cannot be searched for left-behind thumbnails.

## Cause

The media storage cannot list its files, so it cannot be searched for left-behind thumbnails.

`nextly media orphans` finds left-behind thumbnails by listing the files in the media storage. The storage adapter in use cannot list its files, so there is nothing to search, and nothing was changed.

## Fix

* Remove left-behind thumbnails with the storage provider's own tools.
* Or use a storage plugin that can list its files, then run `nextly media orphans` again.

## Example

```text
✗ The media storage (uploadthing) cannot list its files, so it cannot be searched for left-behind thumbnails.
  Why:  The uploadthing storage adapter offers no listing of the files it holds. Nothing was changed.
  Next: Remove left-behind thumbnails with the storage provider's own tools, or use a storage plugin that can list its files.
