# NEXTLY_SCHEMA_RELATION_TARGET_MISSING

A relationship field in the configuration or a plugin names a collection that does not exist.

## Cause

A relationship field in the configuration or a plugin names a collection that does not exist.

A relationship or upload field's `relationTo` must name a collection in `nextly.config.ts`, a plugin or the Schema Builder, or one of the core targets `users` and `media`. The message names the field and the slug it relates to.

## Fix

* Set `relationTo` on the field named to an existing collection.
* Or create the collection it names.

## Example
