# PLUGIN_DISABLED

The plugin to install or uninstall is disabled in the configuration, so its hooks would not run.

## Cause

The plugin to install or uninstall is disabled in the configuration, so its hooks would not run.

A plugin set to `enabled: false` keeps its schema but none of its behaviour, hooks included. An install or uninstall runs the plugin's `onInstall` or `onUninstall`, so for a disabled plugin it would record a state the hook never produced. The command refused before changing anything.

## Fix

* Enable the plugin in `nextly.config.ts`, then run the install or uninstall again.

## Example

```text
✗ The plugin "@acme/seo" is disabled in config.
  Why:  A disabled plugin's hooks do not run, so an install or uninstall of it could record a state its hook never produced. Nothing was changed.
  Next: Enable it in the config to install or uninstall it.
