# PLUGIN_HOOK_SERVICES_REGISTERED

A plugin's install or uninstall hook was not run, because the process already had services registered.

## Cause

A plugin's install or uninstall hook was not run, because the process already had services registered.

A plugin's `onInstall` and `onUninstall` hooks run with services the command registers for them, and tears down afterwards. In a process that already registered its own, tearing down would take those with it, so the hook was not run.

## Fix

Run the plugin command on its own, as `nextly plugins install` or `nextly plugins uninstall`, rather than from a process that has already started Nextly.

## Example

```text
✗ Services are already registered in this process, so @acme/seo's onInstall was not run.
  Why:  The hook runs with services of its own, and tearing them down afterwards would take the existing ones with them.
  Next: Run the plugin command on its own, as `nextly plugins install` or `nextly plugins uninstall`, outside a process that has already started Nextly.
