# PLUGIN_UNINSTALL_UNFINISHED

A configured plugin's uninstall began and did not finish, so the app does not start with it.

## Cause

A configured plugin's uninstall began and did not finish, so the app does not start with it.

`nextly plugins uninstall` records the plugin as uninstalling before it runs `onUninstall` and the DOWN migrations. That uninstall stopped part way, and a plugin in that state is refused in every environment: its code would otherwise run over whatever tables are left.

## Fix

* Finish the uninstall with the command the Next line names, with the same `--keep-data` setting it began with.
* Or reinstate the plugin with `nextly plugins install <name>`.
