# POSTGRES_SCHEMA_INVALID

`db.postgres.schema` is not a name PostgreSQL can use for a schema.

## Cause

`db.postgres.schema` is not a name PostgreSQL can use for a schema.

The schema name reaches SQL through the connection's `search_path`, so a name PostgreSQL would need quoting for is refused when the configuration is read, rather than connecting and then finding nothing.

## Fix

* Rename the schema in `db.postgres.schema` to lower-case letters, digits and underscores, starting with a letter or underscore, at most 63 characters, and not beginning with `pg_`.

## Example

```text
✗ db.postgres.schema is "Tenant-A", which is not a usable schema name.
  Why:  The name reaches SQL through the connection's `search_path`, where an unusable one would connect and then find nothing.
  Next: Use lower-case letters, digits and underscores, starting with a letter or underscore (max 63 characters), and not beginning with "pg_".
