# POSTGRES_SCHEMA_UNSUPPORTED

`db.postgres.schema` names a PostgreSQL schema other than `public`, which Nextly cannot create its tables in yet.

## Cause

`db.postgres.schema` names a PostgreSQL schema other than `public`, which Nextly cannot create its tables in yet.

Nextly creates and migrates its tables in PostgreSQL's `public` schema only, for now. Its push reads the tables it wants as belonging to `public`, so asked to reconcile any other schema it would create nothing there, and the option is refused outright rather than half-honoured.

## Fix

* Remove `db.postgres.schema` from `nextly.config.ts`, or set it to `public`.
* Remove any schema option given to the database adapter as well, so both name `public`.

## Example

```text
✗ db.postgres.schema is "tenant_a", but a PostgreSQL schema other than "public" is not supported yet.
  Why:  Nextly can only create and migrate its tables in "public".
  Next: Remove db.postgres.schema (and any schema option on the database adapter), or set it to "public".
