# UI_SCHEMA_UNREADABLE

The Schema Builder's `ui-schema.json` exists but could not be read.

## Cause

The Schema Builder's `ui-schema.json` exists but could not be read.

Entities built in the Schema Builder are kept in `ui-schema.json`, or the file `db.uiSchemaFile` names. A missing file means none were built; a file that is there but cannot be opened stops the command, since reading on without it would drop those entities.

## Fix

* Check that the user running the command can read the file the What line names.
* If `db.uiSchemaFile` in `nextly.config.ts` points at the wrong file, correct it.
