Project / Roadmap

Now, Next, Later.

An honest roadmap. We don't commit to dates we can't keep, we commit to direction. Three lanes by intent, plus a celebration of what's already shipped.

What's coming

Three lanes. No dates. Items move left as work progresses.

Influence priorities
Now2

Active development. We're designing or building these right now and expect them in the near term.

  • GraphQL API
  • Preview as you typeunsaved edits streaming into the editor frame
Next5

Strong interest, scope being investigated. May land soon, may need more research first.

  • Real-time / WebSockets
  • Cloud Offering
  • Plugin Marketplace
  • Workflowsdraft → review → publish
  • MCP serverschema and content over the Model Context Protocol, read-only first
Later3

On the radar but not yet scoped. Could move up if community demand grows.

  • Client SDKREST API helpers
  • AI in the editorgenerate or rewrite field content from the admin panel
  • Agent panelhand work to an agent from the admin and review what it did

How to read this: Now items are in active development. Next are queued: we're committed to the direction but not the exact timing. Later is on our radar; community votes can move things up. We deliberately don't show dates because Nextly is in alpha and our actual ship cadence depends on contributor bandwidth.
