BUILD_STRICT_WARNINGS

`nextly build --strict` found validation warnings, and `--strict` fails the build on any warning.

Cause

nextly build --strict found validation warnings, and --strict fails the build on any warning.

nextly build reports validation warnings, such as a relationship to a collection the config does not define, and continues. With --strict any warning fails the build, so CI can hold the configuration to having none.

Fix

  • Fix each warning the Why line lists in nextly.config.ts, then run nextly build --strict again.
  • If the warnings are expected, run nextly build without --strict.

Example

✗ Build failed due to 1 warning (--strict mode).
Why: Collection "posts" field "author": relationship target "people" is not defined in this config.
Next: Fix each warning listed, or run `nextly build` without `--strict` to let warnings pass.
