PLUGIN_HOOK_CHANGED_SCHEMA

On SQLite, a plugin's `onUninstall` changed the database schema before its DOWN migrations ran.

Cause

On SQLite, a plugin's onUninstall changed the database schema before its DOWN migrations ran.

On SQLite, a table that was renamed away or replaced cannot be told from the one the DOWN migrations were judged against, so any change to the schema while onUninstall runs stops the uninstall before its DOWN migrations.

Fix

  • Undo the schema changes the hook made.
  • As the plugin's author, have onUninstall change rows only, then run the uninstall again.

Example

✗ @acme/seo's onUninstall changed the database schema.
Why: On SQLite a table it renamed away or replaced cannot be told from the one its DOWN migrations were judged against, so none of them was run, as they could drop a replacement of seo_redirects.
Next: Undo the schema changes the hook made, and have it change rows only, then run the uninstall again.
