PLUGIN_DISABLED

The plugin to install or uninstall is disabled in the configuration, so its hooks would not run.

Cause

The plugin to install or uninstall is disabled in the configuration, so its hooks would not run.

A plugin set to enabled: false keeps its schema but none of its behaviour, hooks included. An install or uninstall runs the plugin's onInstall or onUninstall, so for a disabled plugin it would record a state the hook never produced. The command refused before changing anything.

Fix

  • Enable the plugin in nextly.config.ts, then run the install or uninstall again.

Example

✗ The plugin "@acme/seo" is disabled in config.
Why: A disabled plugin's hooks do not run, so an install or uninstall of it could record a state its hook never produced. Nothing was changed.
Next: Enable it in the config to install or uninstall it.
