PLUGIN_DOCUMENT_VIEW_FIELD_TYPE_UNOWNED

A plugin scopes a document view to a field type the plugin does not contribute.

Cause

A plugin scopes a document view to a field type the plugin does not contribute.

A plugin can scope a document view to a field type, and it then appears on every document with a field of that type. That scope is limited to the field types the plugin itself contributes, so a view never appears on documents its author did not design for.

Fix

  • Scope the view to a field type the plugin contributes.
  • Or scope it to a collection by its slug, under contributes.admin.views.

Example

✗ Plugin "seo" contributes a document view that on every document with a "richText" field at "audit", a field type this plugin does not contribute.
Why: A view can be scoped only to one of its own field types.
Next: Scope the view to a field type the plugin contributes, or to a collection by its slug.
