PLUGIN_DEPENDENCY_NOT_INSTALLED

A plugin to install depends on a plugin that is not installed on this database.

Cause

A plugin to install depends on a plugin that is not installed on this database.

A plugin is installed once its migrations are applied and nextly plugins install has run its onInstall. Installing a dependency runs its own hook, so Nextly does not do it on your behalf. The Why line lists each dependency in the order to install them. Nothing was changed.

Fix

  • Run each command the Why line names, in order.
  • Or run nextly plugins install --all, which installs every configured plugin, dependencies first.

Example

✗ "@acme/sitemap" cannot be installed until its dependency is installed.
Why: Install them in this order:
        - "@acme/seo": its migration(s) 20261020_120000_add_redirects is not applied — run `nextly plugins install @acme/seo`
        Nothing was changed.
Next: Install each dependency listed, in the order shown, then run this install again.
