CORE_DESTRUCTIVE_NEEDS_TERMINAL
`nextly upgrade --reconcile-core` has a destructive change to Nextly's own tables to confirm, and no terminal is attached to ask, so none was made.
Cause
nextly upgrade --reconcile-core has a destructive change to Nextly's own tables to confirm, and no terminal is attached to ask, so none was made.
nextly upgrade --reconcile-core asks before each destructive change to Nextly's own tables. With no terminal attached, as in CI or a script, or with --non-interactive given or CI set, it cannot ask, so it stopped before making any change. The Why line lists the changes it would make.
Fix
- Check that the data in the tables and columns the Why line names is not needed.
- Run
nextly upgrade --reconcile-coreagain in a terminal and confirm each change.
Example
✗ This confirmation needs a terminal, so nothing was changed.
Why: `--reconcile-core` asks before each destructive change to Nextly's own tables, and no terminal is attached to ask (or `--non-interactive` was given, or `CI` is set). The changes it would make:
- drops column 'nextly_users.legacy_role'
Next: Run `nextly upgrade --reconcile-core` again at a terminal, and confirm each change once you have checked its data is not needed.
