INIT_ANSWERS_REQUIRED

`nextly init` has questions to ask, and no terminal is attached to ask them, so it wrote nothing.

Cause

nextly init has questions to ask, and no terminal is attached to ask them, so it wrote nothing.

nextly init asks where collections go and whether to add an example collection. With no terminal attached, as in CI or a script, or with --non-interactive given or CI set, it cannot ask, and --yes was not given to skip the questions. It stopped before writing any file.

Fix

  • Run nextly init --yes to use the defaults.
  • Or run nextly init in a terminal and answer the questions.

Example

✗ Nextly was not initialized, and nothing was written.
Why: `nextly init` asks where collections go and whether to add an example, and no terminal is attached to ask (or `--non-interactive` was given, or `CI` is set).
Next: Run `nextly init --yes` to use the defaults.
