SYNC_CONFIRMATION_REQUIRED

`db:sync --promote` or `--demote` has a confirmation to ask, no terminal is attached to ask it, and `--yes` was not given, so nothing was changed.

Cause

db:sync --promote or --demote has a confirmation to ask, no terminal is attached to ask it, and --yes was not given, so nothing was changed.

nextly db:sync --promote <slug> moves a collection built in the Schema Builder into nextly.config.ts, and --demote <slug> moves one the other way. Each asks before it changes anything. With no terminal attached, as in CI or a script, or with --non-interactive given or CI set, it cannot ask, so it stopped before opening the database.

Fix

  • Run the same command with --yes to answer the confirmation yes.
  • Or run it in a terminal and answer the prompt.

--yes answers only this confirmation. It is not a data-loss consent.

Example

✗ `db:sync --promote posts` changed nothing: it asks before it changes anything.
Why: No terminal is attached to ask (or `--non-interactive` was given, or `CI` is set), and `--yes` was not given.
Next: Run `nextly db:sync --promote posts --yes` to answer it yes.
